Mel Standing Eagle ‘Bringer of Spiritual Messengers’ is an elected feathered Peace Chief and pipe carrier. Mel was feathered by Chief Louie Chavis of the Beaver Creek Nation in August of 2009 Standing Eagle has been blessed to travel and work with Chief Sonne Reyna, Grandfather Wallace Black Elk and others over the years. He is now the carrier of the sacred bundle carried by Robert Ghost Wolf use by the Hopi elders believed to come from the Mayan. Mel Standing Eagle continues to carry the traditions and research done by Robert Ghost Wolf. Dr. Robert Ghost Wolf passed on the Winter Solstice after finishing his last manuscript. Ghost Wolf is known for his books on Hopi prophecy. His books makes for interesting reading. “Days of Destiny,” “Last Cry – Tales of The End Times,” “Winds of Change,” “Through The Eye of the Shaman.” During the eclipse Standing Eagle received the sacred pipe/canupa that Ghost Wolf carried that was used with the Hopi elders.
